Spyros is a lawyer (Supreme Court) and Manager in the legal team of PwC Greece. He joined the Tax & Legal Dept. of PwC in Athens in 2005. In the course of his professional route within PwC and major Athens law firms providing services almost exclusively to international clients, Spyros has advised many top tier Greek and international clients pursuing business activity in almost all areas of the Greek market. Spyros has over 23 years of legal consulting experience, specializing in the areas of corporate and commercial law, contractual support services, and regulatory affairs.

Relevant experience
Spyros has been involved in a broad range of assignments on corporate, regulatory, contractual and commercial issues, such as (indicatively):

Acting as legal advisor to a global leader in airport construction and operation in relation to business cooperation issues; Advising and supporting one of the global leaders in oil industry in relation to the partial demerger of its Greek subsidiary concerning the latter’s lubricants sector; Acting as legal advisor to a leading multinational client in the tourism industry, with regard to the demerger of its Greek affiliate; Advising and supporting various top tier clients in relation to the performance of cross-border merger restructurings; Advising three out of the four Greek systemic banks in a demerger through spin off of their banking business to a new regulated banking entity; Advising and supporting one of the four Greek systemic banks in the demerger process of its subsidiary which is a leader in insurance intermediation; Acting as legal advisor to the Greek subsidiary of the global leader in the Life Science fields of healthcare and agriculture, as to the implementation of the Greek part of a global wide acquisition of an agrochemical and agricultural biotechnology top tier enterprise; Supporting the world’s largest bank with regard to the registration of its representative office in Greece.
