Manos joined Grant Thornton in 2016 and is Senior Manager in the Transactional Advisory Services division. He holds an MBA from the University of Hull, UK, specializing in Financial Management & Investment Risk Assessment, and a Business Economics and International Technology degree from the University of Lincoln, UK. He holds professional certifications as a Stock Market Analyst and also as a Portfolio Manager by the HCMC.
For a long time, he participated in the BoD and investment committees in various banking group subsidiaries such as Laiki AEDAK, LAIKI Securities and the IBG. As a founding member, he offered for many years his services to the Hellenic Association of Certified Stock Analysts and the Market (EEPAMA). He has developed a series of specialized analyses for the Greek and international capital markets, and his views occasionally expressed in the financial press.
Manos has participated in projects as Equity Analyst and Investments Strategist, as well as Portfolio Manager. He has also worked as Investors Relation Manager in a private equity vehicle, specialising in alternative forms of investment such as: venture capital, real estate, aviation, fund of funds and distressed strategies. He has also worked as a Business Consultant with Valuation Research Specialists SA.
He is responsible for the Merger & Acquisition activities of Grant Thornton (Greece), while he has taken part in the composition of Independent Business Review projects, business valuation assignments, numerous debt restructuring proposals and other pitches for project financing and business plan reviews.
