George is a hands-on technologist with extensive experience turning complex ideas into high-impact digital products.
He began his career as a full-stack engineer, quickly taking on leadership roles in both startups and larger tech companies. Early on, George founded Blue Functor, a technology consulting firm that helps companies—from early-stage startups to enterprise teams—design and build scalable, high-performance applications. Since then, he’s worked across a wide range of industries and product types, leading teams and shipping software that people rely on every day.
He has held technical leadership roles at startups he co-founded, and contributed to engineering teams at companies like CircleCI, where he worked on platform improvements and developer tooling. One of his proudest achievements is leading the development of the Mosaic Journal mobile app, which made it into the UK App Store’s top 100.
At Blue Functor, George leads a team of engineers and designers working on ambitious projects for clients around the world—helping them architect and deliver software that’s not only functional but thoughtfully designed and built to last.
He brings particular value to early-stage startups by helping them navigate technical dilemmas under tight resource constraints—combining deep technical expertise with product insight to move fast without sacrificing long-term quality. His team is known for delivering MVPs and proof-of-concepts in just 2–3 weeks, enabling rapid iteration and early market validation.
