Dorothea is a Senior Microfinance Investment Analyst with background blending project planning, finance and a passion for entrepreneurship.

Throughout her career, has gained valuable expertise working with prestigious organizations such as NATO Headquarters and TATA Consultancy Services. She has also demonstrated entrepreneurial equipment as the owner of a retail business and has experienced first-hand how it is from the other side of the fence.

Dorothea having studied and worked in the UK, Italy, Belgium, and Hungary, she thrives in multicultural environments and brings a global perspective.

Her professional interests lie in project planning, accounting, retail management, and business planning analysis, areas where she has developed both strategic insight and practical skills. Lately, has developed an interest in producing and hosting podcasts, revolving around entrepreneurship and microfinance.

In 2021 Dorothea joined AFI Microfinance as Microfinance Investment Analyst. She holds an MSc in Project Planning and Management from the University of Bradford’s Department of Peace Studies and International Development, complemented by a certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

In her spare time, she enjoys making colorful abstract paintings and practicing krav maga.
