Vasilis Korakis is a Manager in the Deals team of PwC (Athens). He joined PwC in 2016 and has over 7 years of experience in M&A / corporate finance, valuation, research, fairness opinion assignments, business plan reviews and financial analysis.
Prior to joining PwC, Vasilis spent two years with Axia Ventures Group (Athens and Nicosia), serving as a Research Analyst in the firm’s Research department. During his spell at Axia, Vasilis was engaged in covering the Greek, Portuguese, and Cypriot banking sectors.
Vasilis’ exposure covers a wide range of sectors including infrastructure, energy, and financial services.
Over the past years, Vasilis has been involved in several Μ&Α transactions, including among others the the disposal of 47MW solar PV projects by Mytilineos to Motor Oil (2020), and the divestment of Piraeus Bank’s participation in Attiki Odos (2018). He has also managed numerous valuation engagements across multiple sectors.
Vasilis holds a BSc in Mathematics from National University of Athens, an MSc in Finance from Alba Graduate Business School, as well as an MSc in Financial Statement Analysis with distinction from Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College.
