A November Full of Action for CapsuleT Accelerator!

November was a month full of connections, opportunities, and innovation for CapsuleT, with our participation in 3 key tourism exhibitions!

WTM London 2024

Our participation in the prestigious World Travel Market (WTM) London, for the 4th consecutive year, in November 5-7, was one of the month’s key highlights.

At the CapsuleT booth, six innovative startups— DeliverbackMystery PotNarratologiesPrimeHostTravelr, and Vivestia—showcased their groundbreaking solutions to an international audience of investors, partners, and tourism professionals.

Key moments of our presence included:

  • Networking with global tourism leaders and forging new strategic partnerships.

WTM London provided a unique opportunity to showcase the capabilities of Greek startups at one of the world’s most important tourism events.

Philoxenia XELEXPO  2024

Philoxenia XELEXPO  2024, held November 14-16, provided an excellent platform to highlight the work of CapsuleT and its startups to the domestic tourism sector. Especially, for the 10 new companies participating in the 7th acceleration cycle, this was a unique opportunity to take part in an exhibition for the first time. They showcased their products and services to representatives of the hospitality and tourism sectors, received valuable feedback on their solutions, and established crucial connections for the future development of their businesses.

At our booth, the 10 startups (AlgomoEpivatisGRS Green Room SystemHypeiSPACEMenufiSmartInn.aiSnapjobWASTECLOUD, and WeTip, as well as 6 winner companies from previous cycles (CellarhoppingDeliverbackMystery PotPrimeHostTourmieTravelr) presented their solutions. Visitors enjoyed exclusive offers and explored applications that enhance traveler experiences and hotel efficiency.

On the second day of the exhibition, DETH-HELEXPO and ODAP co-organized the forum “Experience. Culture. Everywhere.” with a focus on the interlinked relationship between Tourism and Culture. Mrs. Saridaki was invited to participate in the panel titled “Inspiring Best Practices: Showcasing and Promoting Success Stories Locally and Globally,” where she discussed the importance of adopting innovative practices in the tourism and cultural sectors. Additionally, she presented CapsuleT Accelerator’s initiatives and actions that have contributed to connecting cultural heritage with modern tourism needs.

During the three-day event, we had the pleasure of welcoming several distinguished guests to our booth, including Mrs. Christina Tetradis, Vice President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH); members of the HCH Board of Directors, such as Mr. Antonis Mitzalis, Mr. Gerasimos Timotheatos, and Mrs. Sophia Flega; Mrs. Konstantina Svinou, President of the Research Institute for Tourism (ITEP); Mr. Ioannis Hatzis, President of the Panhellenic Federation of Hoteliers (POX); Mr. Eugenios Vassilikos, President of the Athens-Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association (EXAA); as well as other prominent representatives of the Greek hotel industry, such as Mr. Angelos Kallias, President of the Drama Hotel Association; Mr. Antonis Pagonis, President of the Santorini Hotel Association; and Mr. Iordanis Michailidis, President of the Western Macedonia Hotel Association.

XENIA 2024 

Our presence at Xenia 2024 (November 23–25), for the 5th consecutive year, reaffirmed our pivotal role in promoting tourism innovation in Greece.

The three-day event included the 12th General Assembly of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH), where strategies for advancing Greek tourism were discussed. Additionally, three of our startups—Travelr, Mystery Pot, and PrimeHost—presented their groundbreaking solutions to industry professionals.

These same companies, moderated by Mrs. Saridaki, participated in the CapsuleT panel titled “AI, Fintech & Sustainability Tech Solutions Elevating Tourism’s Future” at Xenia Digi Hotel 2024. The discussion showcased how AI, fintech, and sustainability are revolutionizing hospitality, outlining how new technologies are shaping the future of the tourism sector.

These same companies, moderated by Mrs. Saridaki, participated in the CapsuleT panel titled “AI, Fintech & Sustainability Tech Solutions Elevating Tourism’s Future” at Xenia Digi Hotel 2024. The discussion showcased how AI, fintech, and sustainability are revolutionizing hospitality, outlining how new technologies are shaping the future of the tourism sector.

With a strong presence at Hall 1, alongside 16 of our startups (Algomo, Epivatis, GRS Green Room System, Hype, iSPACE, Menufi, SmartInn.ai, Snapjob, WASTECLOUD, WeTip, Cellarhopping, Deliverback, Mystery Pot, PrimeHost, Travelr, Unlimited Adrenaline), we welcomed industry professionals and highlighted the vital role of innovation in boosting the competitiveness of Greek hospitality.

Additionally, we had the honor of hosting Mr. Vassilikos and Mrs. Tetradis at our booth during the exhibition.
