Simplybook is the new online marketplace for online car hire from local car rentals. Our vision is to provide the local car rental companies with the internet presence they deserve. Starting from the Greek Market we aim to connect travelers who want to hire a car locally, with small and mid-size car rentals.

What problem/issue are you trying to solve?

Simplybook aims to solve the current issue faced by small and medium local car rentals and their clients. Currently car rental clients visiting Greece have two options:

a) Search and a rent a vehicle from big-size companies who have the ability to develop APIs of their system, the basis of current global reservation systems. Smaller companies do not have access to this technology. In this competitive environment local small and medium car rental companies can not reach online customers.

b) Use search engines like Google, in order to find price lists of small-size companies, located in the area of the rental service. By following this option, clients go through a difficult, time consuming process of trying to compare many prices from mostly amateur designed websites, and usually are not able to retrieve sufficient information. Once a vehicle is found, booking is not online. Instead, the customer has to wait for a reply from the car rental company.
