On Monday, March 30, 2026, the 7th Idea Platform - the youth innovation competition of the Capsule^T Travel & Hospitality Accelerator - officially launched, marking the beginning of yet another cycle of creativity and development for new ideas in tourism.

This year, 14 teams are participating - a record number that highlights the growing interest among young people in developing innovative solutions within the hospitality and tourism sector.

The kick-off took place at our offices, where teams had the opportunity to meet, exchange their first ideas, and immerse themselves in the program. Participants were welcomed by our Director, Katerina Saridaki, who presented the structure, philosophy, and key stages of the competition.

The first step: the team

The program launch was accompanied by the first workshop, titled “The Co-founders’ Journey”, focusing on one of the most critical elements of any startup: the team itself.

Through practical examples and real market experience, participants explored key topics such as:
• team formation and essential skills
• allocation of roles, responsibilities, and time
• team evolution alongside business growth

The session was led by professionals actively involved in the travel tech ecosystem, namely Daphne Tsevreni (Co-founder & CRO – Clio Muse Tours), Giannis Nousis (Co-founder – TravelMyth), and Stefanos Vasdekis (Co-founder – TravelMyth), who shared valuable insights from their own experience in building and scaling tourism startups.

The beginning of a journey

The Idea Platform is the entry point to the Capsule^T ecosystem, giving new teams the opportunity to test their ideas, receive meaningful guidance, and evaluate their potential as business ventures.

With this year’s edition marked by increased participation and a high level of teams, the 7th Idea Platform begins with strong prospects, setting the foundations for a creative and demanding journey for all participants.
