Elias Siskos is Director in PwC Greece in his capacity as a Partner of the "Vizas Grigoriadou and Partners Law Firm". He is leading the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Energy legal practice since 2019. With over 25 years of advisory experience, he specializes in public and private acquisitions, corporate transformations, privatizations and all kinds of investments, and divestments. Before joining PwC, Elias had a distinguished career in leading Greek business law firm and served nearly a decade at the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), acting as legal advisor for some of the milestone privatization projects implemented by the Hellenic Republic and HRADF. In his capacity as legal advisor of the HRADF, he frequently cooperated and liaised with the EU services as well as with the institutions in the context of the cooperation of the Hellenic Republic with the ECB, IMF, and EU. During his tenure with HRADF, he was responsible and successfully led the privatizations for the divestment and sale of the majority stake in Piraeus and Thessaloniki Port Authorities, the two listed water and sewerage companies of Athens and Thessaloniki (EYDAP and EYATH). He was responsible for Project Reset f the five motorway concessions projects in Greece and he oversaw the preparation and the implementation of the privatisation process for Egnatia Odos. Finally, he has advised in the past on several IPOs and SPOs for state-owned entities listed on the Athens Exchange. 

In PwC, Elias advises on complex M&A transactions across diverse sectors including energy, food and beverage, real estate and tourism, banking and finance, and consumer services. His expertise extends to state-owned enterprises, concession agreements, PPPs, public procurement and energy issues. Notably, he played a key role in the transformation of systemic Greek banks (Piraeus Bank and Alpha Bank), overseeing hive-down processes, regulatory compliance, and licensing in coordination with the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM). During the last year he has advised the same entities in the process of the reverse merger by absorption of the two Banks with their listed financial holding companies and the concurrent listing of the Bank back to the Athens Exchange that for Alpha Bank has successfully been concluded and for Piraeus Bank is still ongoing to be implemented by the end of the year. His profound regulatory knowledge also touches upon banking, payment institutions, financial holdings, and compliance with supervisory authorities like the Bank of Greece and the Hellenic Capital Market Commission.
