Capsule!@T@! and its startups traveled to Rhodes!

Another event in collaboration with a Local Hoteliers Association was successfully completed - this time with the Rhodes Hoteliers Association. Through the last on-site visit of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels' accelerator in Rhodes, 9 of its startups DeliverbackEV LoaderHotel Toolbox, HotellisenseNarratologiesSmartINN.aiUnlimited AdrenalineVivestia, and Wastecloud— had the opportunity to get to know the island’s tourism ecosystem up close and present their technological solutions to industry professionals.

The aim of the initiative was to connect innovation with the tourism market, exchange experiences and best practices, and highlight how new technologies can support the evolution of hospitality in Rhodes — one of the most mature and dynamic tourism destinations in the country.

Day 1: Discovering Rhodian hospitality

The program began with a visit to Atrium Platinum Resort & Spa in Ixia, where the teams were informed about the operation of a large hotel unit, the technological challenges that arise in managing daily operations, and the need for integrated digital solutions.

This was followed by a visit to Best Western Plaza Hotel in the city of Rhodes, where a meaningful discussion took place regarding the particularities of city hotels and techniques for improving reservation management and guest experience, which are often characterized by faster flow, higher frequency and a greater need for personalization.

Next, the teams toured the Medieval Old Town of Rhodes, learning about the island’s rich history and the connection between cultural heritage and modern tourism development. The day concluded with a stop at In Camera Hotel, an exceptional example of hospitality combining aesthetics, culture and authenticity.

Event “New Technologies in Hospitality & Tourism”

In the afternoon, the event “New Technologies in Hospitality and Tourism” was held at Acandia Hotel, organized in collaboration with the Rhodes Hoteliers Association.

Opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Yiannis Papavasileiou, President of the Rhodes Hoteliers Association, Mr. Kostas Kallioudakis, Secretary General of the Association and member of the HCH Board of Directors, and Ms. Dora Anastasiadi, General Manager of the Association. Representing CapsuleT, the Director of the Accelerator, Mrs. Katerina Saridaki, presented the initiative and spoke about the program’s role in supporting the development of Greek travel tech startups and connecting them with the hotel sector across the country.

During the event, the startups Deliverback, EV Loader, Hotellisense, Hotel Toolbox, Narratologies, SmartINN.ai, Unlimited Adrenaline, Vivestia and Wastecloud presented their solutions aimed at optimizing operations, supporting sustainability and enhancing the guest experience, gaining strong interest from the audience.

The event concluded with an open networking session, providing opportunities for productive discussions and exploring future collaborations.

Day 2: Meetings & exchange of experiences

On the second day, the visits continued to hotel units on the island.

The teams visited στο Amada Colossos Resortand Blue Sea Island Rhodes, where discussions focused on the challenges of all-inclusive properties, needs related to energy, waste management and automation, as well as the value of technology in the efficient operation of large infrastructures.

The mission then visited Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites, where the model of luxury hospitality and the application of digital tools for personalized service were presented, as well as Princess Adriana Beach Resort & Village in South Rhodes, where teams discussed with management how resort properties adapt to contemporary tourism trends.
