Culizen: photograph a supplier invoice. All your recipe costs update, and you instantly know what your menu is worth. Manage your kitchen in Greek, English and German.
Culizen is the management platform for a restaurant kitchen. You photograph a supplier invoice; AI reads every line, matches it to your pantry and updates prices, so recipe costs and dish margins are always current. The same data runs the rest of the kitchen: menu engineering that ranks dishes by profit and popularity, stock takes, waste and inventory, POS sales flowing in automatically, and a real P&L from revenue down to EBITDA. It works on a phone between services and on the office desktop. Greek, English and German, from €35 a month, with a 30-day free trial.
Greek food service is being squeezed from both sides. Food prices rose 28.5% between 2021 and 2024, while sector turnover fell 3.4% to €10.7 billion in 2025 despite a record tourism year, with a further drop expected. European full-service margins of 3–5% leave no room for error.
Yet the numbers that decide survival sit in four disconnected places: invoices in a drawer, stock on a paper count sheet, sales locked in the POS, and a P&L that arrives from the accountant two months late.
Nothing joins them, so nobody can answer which dish makes money this week. Invoices are still retyped by hand: €12–€35 of staff time each by industry benchmarks, 39% containing errors, and spreadsheet costings break silently when units or prices change. Existing software targets the back office: ERP-style, desktop-bound, priced for chains. Nothing is built for a chef with 20 minutes after service.
Culizen joins those four places into one system. The chef photographs a supplier invoice on a phone. AI reads every line in Greek or English, credit notes included, and matches it to the pantry. The fuller the pantry, the more accurate the next scan. New prices flow straight into the recipes, so cost per serving and margin are always current.
The same data then runs menu engineering, stock takes, waste and drain analysis, POS-fed sales, and a real P&L down to EBITDA, exportable as a bank-ready PDF. Commercially it's a self-serve SaaS subscription: €35 Essential, €69 Plus, €119 Professional, and custom Executive pricing for groups and hotels, after a 30-day free trial. We sell direct and through POS and e-invoicing partners. Greece comes first, then the rest of Europe, where the invoice pile looks identical, with VAT already configured for 14 countries.
