JUDGE
Sotiris Andriopoulos was born in Athens in 1967 and has a diploma in “Hotel Management”. During his internship, he worked at the “Queens Moat House” hotel in Bournemouth UK, at the “Penta Forum” hotel in Munich Germany and at the “Elounda Beach” hotel in Crete Greece, where he gained experience from various departments.
With over 25 years of successful experience in the hospitality industry, he is currently the “Rooms Division Manager” of the Athenaeum InterContinental Athens, managing the operation of Housekeeping and Front Office (Reception, Guest Relations, Guest Experience and Duty Managers, Club InterContinental, Guest Service Centre and Unformed Services).
As a “Rooms Division Manager”, he leads, controls and supervises the team to ensure a smooth operation, deliver an excellent guest experience, achieve financial and quality standards, manage employee satisfaction and take initiatives to introduce new operating tools to enhance operational efficiency and staff productivity.
Before becoming a “Rooms Division Manager”, he spent 10 years as a “Front Office Manager” at the Athenaeum InterContinental Athens, where he has worked since 1993 in various positions.
