Savvas is the Co-founder and Product Director of Welcome Pickups.
He acquired his degree in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from NTUA and soon started his career as a hands-on software engineer.
Savvas has worked in startup companies since 2009, starting from the incubator of Facebook Fund in Palo Alto. He was the CTO of the Daily Secret team, while earlier he was the CTO in Liberis Publications.
At Welcome, Savvas is running the product team, working on traveler experience, SEO and booking flows, mobile apps for drivers and tools for hotels that integrate with the top PMS and channel managers globally.
Welcome Served 1 Million travelers in 2019 and its tools are used by >1000 hotels in Europe and thousands of drivers and vacation rentals hosts.
