Katerina Markadaki was born in New York in 1979. She studied Mass Media and French Literature at the State University of New York at New Paltz, from where she also holds an MBA.
From 2003 she lives and works in Greece, specifically in Publishing, Media and Culture industries such as Athens Theaters and Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
Today she is the Head of Business Development at the Basil and Elise Goulandris Foundation, the new museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, located in Pangrati.
In addition, she is a children’s book writer, having published 5 children’s books with Minoas and Dioptra Publishing houses.
