Ioanna Trachana is an expert in designing and executing digital strategies. She has been with Athens International Airport since 2016, at the IT&T Business Unit part of the new digital and innovation team.
She is responsible for the design and the execution of airports digital and innovation projects portfolio as well as for the experimentation of exponential technologies to help ideation and innovation flourish.
She is engaged on how technology may impact customer experiences while entering to customers’ shoes to get insights and propose quick wins or new projects that will tackle various challenges.
Previously, Ioanna worked for 16 years at the Financial Sector (Piraeus Bank, Societe Generale, Eurobank) holding senior positions, leading teams within the digital and technology units, with international experience in South East Europe and in Middle East.
Ioanna holds a Master of Business Strategy from the University of Leicester and she is a travel-mad mother. She is a founding member of AIA’s internal “innovation ambassadors” team.
