Andreas is a business and technology advisor who specializes in Information Security, Fintech, Decentralized Systems and Operational Risk. In 2012 he went down the Bitcoin and blockchain rabbit hole. Since 2017, he is preparing the world for the programmable economy as he is leading Bitcoin-Lightning development and other special projects in Programize.
Andreas was previously the Head of IT GRC for one of Greece’s largest banking groups and before that, a Senior Consultant in Deloitte. He has run multi-national projects related to business and technology reengineering, information security, financial & healthcare compliance, etc.
Andreas got his MSc in IT, Management and Organizational Change from Lancaster University Management School, while he also holds a BSc in Information Systems Engineering from University of Manchester.
