CapsuleT and its startups travel to Magnesia!
The on-site visit of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels’ accelerator that was held in Magnesia from March 17-19, 2025, was successfully completed.
The purpose of these trips is for our teams to recognize and familiarize themselves with the tourism products of each region, connect with hotel associations and unions, and introduce and promote new technologies that can enhance the operations and competitiveness of local businesses.
The three-day event began at Valis Resort and Spa, where, together with eight startups from CapsuleT (Deliverback, EV Loader, Kleesto, Mystery Pot, SmartINN.ai, Unlimited Adrenaline, Vivestia, and Wastecloud), we presented innovative solutions and technological applications aimed at improving hotel services and upgrading the tourism sector. The event was organized in collaboration with the Hotel Owners Association of Magnesia and with the support of the Magnesia Chamber of Commerce.
A special thanks to the Magnesia Hotel Association and its President, Mr. Giorgos Zafeiris, for the invitation and hospitality, as well as for presenting an honorary plaque to CapsuleT and our Director, Katerina Saridaki. The honorary distinction was awarded by Mr. Zafeiris and Ms. Chrysa Tsaganou, President of the Thessaly Regional Council. Additionally, we warmly thank all the members and industry professionals who attended, learned about our startups’ solutions, and actively contributed to the networking session that followed.
As part of our on-site visit to Magnesia, we had the opportunity to visit important businesses and locations in Volos and Pelion, in order to connect with local tourism enterprises, understand their needs, and present the innovative solutions of our startups.
Our tour started at Volos Palace Hotel, where we discussed the challenges and opportunities in hospitality with hotel representatives. Next, we visited Karaiskos Agritourism Farm, immersing ourselves in the agritourism experience, discovering local production, and learning about sustainable farming practices. At Manthos Mountain Resort & Spa, we focused on the potential for developing mountain tourism.
In Zagora, we visited Project Zeta – House of Dialogue, a state-of-the-art conference and education center. In Tsagarada, we explored 12 Months Resort & Spa, where we examined how luxury can be harmoniously combined with nature. Our visits concluded at Tsipouro Tokali, the Tokali family distillery, which produces premium wine and tsipouro from organic vineyards, offering us a unique taste of local tradition.
It was an exceptional experience for our startups, who had the chance to present their solutions, connect with local businesses, and establish new partnerships.
We look forward to our next initiatives!
Stay tuned!
