Al. Vassilikos – President, HCH has been awarded for his work by the Ministry of Tourism

The honorary award of “Contribution to the Upgrade of the Greek Tourism Product” was given to Mr. Alexandros Vassilikos, President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and inspirer of Capsule^T Travel & Hospitality Accelerator initiative, by the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism for his work in the hospitality industry on Monday, January 30, 2023.

After his distinction he stated himself: “It was a great pleasure for me to receive the award “Contribution to the Upgrading of the Greek Tourism Product” by the Ministry of Tourism. It is an award for all hoteliers in the country, who have demonstrated their excellent endurance and ability to adapt to the adverse circumstances we have experienced in the recent past. It is precisely this ability that has brought the hotel industry to the forefront of the tourism return despite the difficult conditions that continue to prevail. At the same time, however, it is also a recognition of the collective work of social responsibility of our industry that was expressed both in our financial donation to the National Health System as well as in the continuous support of vulnerable social groups throughout the Covid-19 that tested the Greek society.”
